A Message from the Faces of the Arts
What’s Your Art? Do you sing? Dance? Paint? Do you go to concerts? Plays? Jazz clubs? Chances are good that you or someone in your family participate in Erie’s vibrant arts community—a community of which we all can be proud.
You may not know us, or we could be your friends, neighbors or co-workers—each of us an artist in some way. We’re happy to serve as the faces of the 2008 United Arts Fund Drive, to share our stories, and most importantly, to ask you for your support! Learn more about us and tell us about your art.
For over 40 years, the Erie community has provided essential support to the arts by donating generously to the United Arts Fund Drive. The impact can be seen at Erie’s many arts exhibits and performances, and on the faces of all whose lives are touched by the arts. The arts aren’t just entertaining—they can be inspirational, educational, thought-provoking, and even healing. And, they’re a vital part of our economy, making Erie a great place to live, work and play!
In 2008, the reach of the United Arts Fund Drive will be even greater than ever. Changes have been made to insure that our major arts organizations, as well as our many community arts programs and projects are eligible to apply for funding.
So, ask yourself – What’s Your Art? – And how you can make our community a better place? Make your generous donation today to the Arts Council of Erie’s United Arts Fund Drive to support your art!
